Our major client is looking to recruit a UK Technical Engineer (inc Company Car) to their expanding team to provide technical support to internal & external customers, to travel to customer sites & install, maintain & repair the full range of company products.
Your main roles and responsibilities will be to
1.Install, repair and maintain coding/printing equipment with minimum direct supervision, as directed by the Help Desk and local supervision.
2.Promote Proactive technical support to UK customers, Field Service Engineers and Sales to ensure customer fix and maximise Field Service Engineer intervention.
3.Diary technical intervention to ensure Customer errors are resolved quickly and to maximise Field Service Engineer intervention.
4.To Co-Ordinate and carry out Workshop intervention processes of customer repairs and Trial process and manage workshop inventory.
5.Take ownership of engineers diary scheduling & work allocation
6.Manage Installation process to ensure right first time customer installation.
7.Helpdesk duties and support.
This role will 30% office based with the remainder in the field.
You will be an experienced service engineer from a industry that encompasses electronic/mechanical components. Candidates with experience in a electronic/printing background will be at a distinct advantage. You will also hold a relevant technical qualification.
You must be located within a 30 mile radius of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
