Job Description:
Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic quality engineer on contract basis for their new production plant.
Your main roles & responsibilities will be to devise, plan, develop and implement sound quality strategies, policies & procedures. Liaise seamlessly with production, engineering, procurement depts to improve quality techniques. Review production output, confirming product meets specifications, carrying out inspections. Design & implement quality documentation, train & develop staff to adhere to policies & practises.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous quality engineering experience of new production start up’s or have been involved in new production installations within existing plants. You must be adept at translating & understanding technical drawings. Commercial experience of FMEA is advantageous. This position is based on a 3-6 month contract however on completion, permanent opportunities may arise
Qualifications: Ideally HNC/Degree educated in an engineering/quality discipline with commercial experience in manufacturing plant.
