This is a hands on engineering managers’ role which would ideally suit an engineering manager from a small production company or a deputy who is looking for the next step up, you must be able to lead from the front, motivate & direct a team of multiskilled engineers. Being 16th/17th edt qualified & have come from a food or FMCG industry you will manage a small team of engineers control budgets & do project work. The company will be moving into lean manufacturing process techniques so experience of this is advantageous. Having PLC knowledge & maintain the PPM schedule. Being the engineering manager you will be the 4 person within the management team & will be expected to control & participate in managers meetings.
Good communicator, self motivated, good management skills.
